Depending on the swissy, they have different herding aptitudes.

We have ducks and goats at home and a regulation sized field for ducks.

Helix is training for AKC herding intermediate A course. The A course involves an outrun to collect the stock and driving through numerous obstacles. Her kids are working on Started.

AKC herding: Fender, Fury, Helix, Arty, Myna and Ajax have a Pre-Trial Tested title. Fender has completed his Herding Started Title (with 2 High in Trials). Helix also have stated titles on multiple stock types.

AHBA herding: Fender and Fury both have a Junior Herding Dog title.

ASCA herding: Fender and Fury both have legs in started on cattle, sheep and ducks. The courses and required elements are different for the 3 herding organizations, what is available locally depends on your area.
