Myna and her triathlete ribbon from the national.
Report from Way Out West (the National Specialty for my breed), now that all the photos are in!
Helix was Best of Opposite in Veterans Sweeps at the national and best of opposite veteran in the regular classes at the independent. She also got one scentwork interior leg with auntie Allison at the all-breed trial. She also got the award being the top producer of working titles in 2022, thanks to her hard working kids.
Myna has Qs in Novice B and Rally Ex B at the national. Another Q in Rally Ex B at the all-breed. Qs in containers and interior at the national and the all-breed trial in scent work (These were our first 2 scentwork trials). She qualified for a Triathlete Award, with the Qs in obedience, rally and scentwork. Arty who stayed home and slept in Abigail’s bed, was in the top5 for Novice B obedience. My other doggie passengers,
Clooney and Roe were big winners as well.
Miles driven, 7000. States travelled through, NY, PA, OH, IN, IL, WI, MN, SD, WY, UT, NV, CA, AZ, NM, TX, OK, MO. I wasn’t expecting to hit many of these states (snow in CO and WY caused a reroute on the way home), but the BBQ is excellent in Amarillo.
Special Thanks to everyone that helped make this big trip a success, my co-pilot dad, my animal sitter daughter and my took over everything else husband.
